Becoming Men
Becoming Men is a 9-week social group that talks all things puberty. We’re not just talking about the basics like voice changes and body hair (although these are definitely covered). Each week, we will guide the group through interactive discussions, fun activities and creative exercises designed to dive into peer pressure, taking care of your mental health, consent, respect, body positivity and healthy relationships. We provide a safe space for our learners to share their thoughts, feelings and experiences without fear of judgement.
Our program goal is to help boys develop a positive and confident sense of self, and to equip them with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive throughout this critical stage in their lives. We believe that by providing a supportive community and platform for honest conversations, we can help young men navigate the challenges of puberty with ease and set them up for success.

- Promoting a positive body image and self-esteem.
- Exploring healthy relationships and boundaries.
- Developing problem-solving skills and resilience.
- Understanding body changes and the basics of puberty.
- Navigating social pressures and peer influence.
- Embracing their individuality and celebrating their uniqueness.
- Goal setting and future planning.
